The impact of climate change on operational requirements is now recognised by defence and industry on a global scale, but the challenges of mitigation and adaptation remain. In order to ensure whole force resilience, design must adapt to the challenges of a changing world. This requires significant technological development and collaboration with industry to reap best practice from the leading edge, as well as a deeper understanding of what the future operational parameters will be.
