The Proteus Technology Demonstrator programme is the latest in over a decade of collaborative development with the UK MOD and Royal Navy. Proteus has been designed from the outset to generate evidence that an autonomous, modular large c3tonne VTOL UAS can deliver or contribute to the delivery of military maritime effect. Delivering the dull, dirty
and dangerous missions traditionally undertaken by crewed platforms with fewer people and at lower cost. The Proteus Technology Demonstrator will undertake flight trials to validate the functions necessary to realise the
vision of a fully autonomous uncrewed system.
Typhoon
