Commissioned into the Royal Army Medical Corps as a Physiotherapy Officer in 2002, Colonel Galpin is currently responsible for the Army’s health policy and improvements. Within this role he is leading the development of an organisational change programme that seeks to enhance the holistic health of the Army – Fit to Fight; Fit for Life. This initiative will cohere multiple health improvement projects to significantly raise physical, mental and social fitness levels by 2026.
