Timo Haas is Chairman of the Management Board at Rheinmetall Electronics GmbH and Digital GmbH and Co-CEO of Rheinmetall’s Division Electronic Solutions. Since 2019, he has also served as Chief Digital Officer of Rheinmetall AG, shaping the Group’s digital strategy and portfolio with a focus on unmanned systems, sensors, integrated fire control, and large-scale IT integration.

Previously, he founded and led blackned GmbH, growing it into an international defense communications company and a key contributor to NATO and the German Armed Forces’ digital networks. A former German Air Force officer and current Signals Staff Officer in the Reserve, he has operational and leadership experience spanning NATO missions, entrepreneurship, and corporate transformation.

He holds a Ph.D. in Law, Education, and Development from Pegaso International and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Hochschule Ulm. Passionate about digitalization, secure solutions, and defense innovation, he is driven by a vision to build stronger ecosystems that empower armed forces.
