Stephanie Ayres joined UKspace in July 2024 as Head of Policy, bringing a wealth of experience coordinating policy and procurement campaigns in the defence and aerospace sectors.  Prior to joining UKspace, she worked for Raytheon Systems Ltd and then the Aerospace Corporation, coordinating their UK public affairs and campaigns.  Her early years were spent working in parliament under the last Labour Government and she has used this experience to position space as an integral part of this Government’s mission led approach.  Stephanie’s goal is to help the UK space industry speak with one powerful voice as the UK takes its place in space.
