Roger joined TVS SCS in Feb 2024 as Managing Director for their Defence and Government business. Prior to this he was Director of Logistics and Support at DE&S, holding more or less the same position for 10 years. He saw through the delivery of the LCST (Logistics Commodities Services Transformation) programme to award in Summer 2015 and oversaw the transfer of some 1400 MOD staff together with warehousing, transportation and commodity procurement moving to Team Leidos. In 2021 he merged his organisation with the Support Directorate becoming Director Logistics and Support and expanded his transformation focus to include how defence can deliver better logistics and equipment support to customers across defence and provided a key distribution service to the NHS during the COVID pandemic response.

He joined the MOD with a diverse background in procurement and supply chain management gained in a wide range of public and private sector organisations. He has worked with IBM, ASDA, Coopers & Lybrand, Capgemini and DHL. Roger lives in Yorkshire with his wife Rebecca and has 4 adult daughters. In his spare time he enjoys messing about with all things mechanical, thinking about sailing, and walking.
