Polly Scully CBE joined Palantir in 2022 as a Senior Counselor focusing on solving Defence’s toughest problems. She previously served 18 years as a civil servant, mostly in national security policy. Her last role was as the MOD’s Strategy Director where she led the team that produced the 2021 Defence Command Paper. Prior to that she spent 4 years working in crisis planning and response, including during the 2017 terror attacks, the Salisbury poisonings and the initial COVID response. She has also worked in the Home Office and as the military campaign analyst for the Iraq Inquiry.
