Starting back in the 80s on Type 23 and Upholder, he has played a leading role for more than 30 years designing commercial and naval power and propulsion systems on many classes of US and UK vessels including Type 23, 45 Albion, Wave, Zumwalt, Wasp, Lewis and Clark and QEC classes as well as construction of the Marine Power Test Facility at Whetstone.  He also has extensive experience in commercial marine, renewables, power electronics, mining,  control and automation and digital systems.   Nick is currently the Power Systems Leader within the Global Product and Technology Team at GE Vernova’s Power Conversion business.
