Dr. Marta Wachowicz
Dr. Marta Ewa Wachowicz holds a Ph.D. in space physics from the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
She was involved in establishing the Polish Space Agency (POLSA) and from 2015 to 2018 led its Strategy and International Cooperation Department. In this role, she supported Polish space-sector companies in international cooperation and built ties with major national space agencies.
She has deep expertise in European space policy, ESA programs, and the use of space technologies in national defense. Her experience at CBK PAN gave her technical
insight into instrument and component development for the space and high-tech industries.
Dr. Wachowicz has worked across academia, government, NGOs, and the private sector. At GeoPlanet, she coordinated strategic financial planning and multidisciplinary
research. At NASK-PIB, she focused on cybersecurity and system resilience.
She also holds credentials in science management, R&D commercialization, and completed studies at Stanford University and in an EMBA program.
From 2015 to 2022, she lectured at the Warsaw School of Economics and Kozminski University.
