Maksym (Max) is a co-founder and CEO of Aegiq. Before starting Aegiq in 2019 he run several ventures in aerospace consulting and precision measurement systems. Born and raised in Ukraine, he holds a PhD in Experimental Quantum & Semiconductor Physics from The University of Sheffield and a BSc in Economics & Finance from LSE.

Max is passionate about grand challenges, and in particular the next industrial revolution - quantum technologies. Aegiq was created with a mission to accelerate global adoption of quantum computing and quantum networking. Existing portfolio of solutions covers multidomain capability in frontier cybersecurity and high-performance (quantum) computing, based on the unique hybrid photonics platform. Aegiq is partnering with key global players in defence, aerospace, telco and security, and received substantial government backing with 6 active technology development projects.
