Liam Crane MBE currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Nokia Space & Defense. With 15 years of military experience as a Royal Signals Officer within the UK Ministry of Defence he has expertise in planning and deploying tactical and operational Communication and Information Systems (CIS). He has commanded on multiple operational deployments globally. Liam holds an MBA specialising in Technology Adoption and AI in Defence, an MSc in International Management and Postgraduate qualifications in Battlespace Technology and Strategic Leadership and Management. Liam is also a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership (FIoL), a Chartered Manager Fellow (CMgr FCMI) and a Chartered Engineer (CEng MIET). He still serves as a British Army Royal Signal Reserve.
