Kristina joined the Ministry of Defence as Head of Cyber and Security and SRO for the Land CEMA Programme at Army HQ in 2020. Prior to this she worked for the Home Office, Cabinet Office, UK Border Agency and National Policing Improvement Agency. Her roles have included national security strategy development, foreign and border policy delivery, and large-scale technical programme delivery. She was part of the team that drafted the 2010 UK’s National Security Strategy and Strategic Defence and Security Review. She has held senior positions in several cross-Government programmes, including the Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme. She was involved in operational support for the central Government response for Operation Yellowhammer (EU Exit) and Covid-19.
