Brigadier Kirsten Dagless has spent much of her Army career working in the Personnel Policy, Training, Education and Workforce Planning environment. A highlight was in 2018 when she was assigned as Assistant Head Professional Development, Personnel Policy (Army) in Army HQ.  Programme lead for the Army’s Physical Employment Standards, the Army Leadership Development Programme, Army Trainer Capability and Women into Ground Close Combat, she was appointed OBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List 2022 for her contribution to female talent development. Brigadier Dagless became Assistant Director Training Operations, HQ Army Recruiting and Initial Training Command in August 2021 where she was responsible for modernisation of soldier Basic Training. Brigadier Dagless returned to the Ministry of Defence in April 2023, where she is currently employed as Head Talent, Skills, Learning and Development.
