Keith Norton is Vice President Europe and Managing Director L3Harris Communications Systems UK Ltd. Norton has responsibility for L3Harris Communications Systems business in Europe, which has quadrupled its annual orders since he joined in 2016. L3Harris Communications Systems UK Ltd in Farnborough has some 150 staff across all disciplines delivering engineering, manufacturing, training, support and repair/overhaul services for UK and European customers.

Prior to L3Harris, Norton was CEO of Trilogy Communications Ltd providing cross-domain, IP voice solutions for Joint C2 Operations into US Primes on the USAF DCGS and US Navy Global Hawk programmes.

Previously CEO of Paradigm Secure Communications Ltd the world’s first commercial company to own and operate a fleet of military satellites. The business delivered MILSATCOM services to the UK and, NATO MoDs through the Skynet PFI. In 2012 he negotiated a fourth Skynet5 satellite, 5D, into the PFI, extending its duration to 2022 and increasing the total contract value to $4.8Bn.

At Serco, Norton was Delivery Director for Serco’s scope of UK Border Agency’s $1B eBorders programme. Responsible for two CNI datacentres and a Joint Operations Centre.

Norton has also worked in commercial telecoms, having held senior director level positions at Cable & Wireless and Nokia.

At IBM, he was Principal Technical Advisor to UK MoD on BOWMAN and at BAE Systems he designed HAVEQUICK into their AD3500 VHF/UHF radio and other airborne radios.

Norton has served on the boards of L3Harris UK, Trilogy and Airbus.
