Kate is the Future Combat Air System Enterprise Enablement Director, responsible for ensuring the enterprise enablers are in place to ensure delivery of the programme. This includes leading the delivery of digital engineering, advanced digital collaboration and the enabling digital and physical infrastructure, underpinned by the vital data and security capabilities required for a 6th generation system. Kate joined the FCAS programme in March 2023 after a career spanning the Royal Navy as an Air Engineering Officer, management consultancy and most recently leading the Public Sector Customer Transformation team for Microsoft. Throughout her career Kate has focused on the creation of business value through innovation and technology and driving success across complex transformation projects. She is passionate about the importance of diversity in driving innovation and is a strong supporter of Women in Defence and STEM activities.
