Julia Balm is a PhD candidate in the Freeman Air and Space Institute (FASI) in the School of Security Studies, King’s College London. Her research builds a space power theory for the New Space Age that examines the needs and motivations of space strategy. Working across academia, defence, and government has built her expertise in cross sector coherence in space strategy and space security.
