Juan Tomas Hernani is CEO and cofounder of SATLANTIS, a 12 year old space technology company specialized in Earth Observation Optical Technologies, with 7 successful flights and a pipeline of 18 contracted missions in partnership with various platform suppliers plus 5 missions as a prime contractor for the next 18 months.
Juan has been State Secretary for Innovation and President of the Spanish Innovation Bank CDTI in Spain, with full competence over the Space domain.
He had a previous entrepreneur experience in the 90s, where an AI & Digital start-up called KEON arrived into 700 engineers in 6 countries, before being incorporated into INDRA.
He was general manager of ISABEL, a publicly traded canned fish multinational company with 3000 employees worldwide.
He is also a the board coordinator of independent members at GLOBAL DOMINION, a 1,2 billion € environmental technologies multinational.
