Jim is an Engineering Manager with a Systems Engineering background, who has held leadership roles on space projects in BAE Systems since 2018. Jim’s career in BAE Systems since 2003 has been varied and interesting, including work on fighter jets, information systems, autonomous aircraft and system integration. Jim has also performed the role of Technical Capability Lead on the Serapis Lot 2 framework, helping Dstl procure space R&D, so has an appreciation of the skills mix in the supply base and the challenges that companies of all sizes face when working into Defence.
