James Dunne is the Managing Director of L3Harris Maritime UK, where he leads the business responsible for delivering complex Submarine and Warship programmes, as well as Autonomy capabilities for the UK and international Navies. He recently moved from the Intelligence and Cyber International Division, where as Head of Programmes, he led the delivery of projects across Cyber, EW, Integrated Air and Missile Defence and EOD Robotics.

James has worked in Defence for 23 years, the majority of which has been spent in Industry, where he has held a number of Delivery-focused roles with BAE Systems, Elbit Systems UK, and now L3Harris. His experience of procurement and delivery spans from Nuclear Submarine programmes to Urgent Capability Requirements for UK and international end users, and special projects for the Special Forces and Law Enforcement communities.

Prior to joining Industry, James was a Warfare Officer in the Royal Navy Submarine Service, where he held multiple roles across a number of international deployments and operational patrols.
