Professor Dame Fiona Murray CBE DCMG is the William Porter (1967) Professor of Entrepreneurship at the MIT School of Management. She serves as Vice Chair of the NATO Innovation Fund and on the Board of several private companies. She is a leading academic examining the changing dynamics of critical technologies, entrepreneurship, and geopolitics and their implications for investors and innovators. Her recent book examines the role of innovation ecosystems in supporting the scaling of deep tech ventures that solve global challenges. And her current thought leadership emphasizes how capital market structures can be shaped to support new national strategic priorities especially in defence, security and resilience.
