Professor Emma Parry
Emma Parry is Professor of Human Resource Management (HRM) and Head of the Changing World of Work Group at Cranfield School of Management. Her expertise focuses on the impact of the changing external context on work, the workplace and the workforce and the implications of this for people management. Emma has spent over 20 years undertaking research in HRM for a range of organisations, including for UK Defence. She was named one of the Most Influential HR Thinkers by HR Magazine in 2022. Emma is Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences and British Academy of Management, Academic Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and Honorary Fellow of the Institute for Employment Studies. She is currently Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Human Resource Management, Chair of the British Academy of Management and has written several books and numerous articles in both academic and practitioner publications.
