Eddie is a former Royal Navy Officer, where he was the Chief of Staff of Uncrewed Systems (UxS) for the UK MOD, Chair of the Defence RPAS Network, and co-author of the UK MOD’s Defence Drone Strategy prior to leaving the service.
His background includes time as a crewed aviator as an Observer on Merlin Mk2 ASW aircraft, driving HM Vessels including the Sandown Minehunter and T45 Air Destroyer, and one of the inaugural Defence Innovation and Digital Transformation Fellows (Percy Hobart Fellowship) where he worked to help local authorities fight food poverty in London boroughs.
Eddie is now the Chief Commercial Officer of ISS Aerospace, a UK based UxS design and development organisation, specialising in dual use technology. He is passionate about the distribution and democratisation of capability, enabling the best possible effects to be achieved by as widely as possible."
