Della drives International Government and National Security business development as part of Maxar’s Global Joint Engagement Team (JET). Della joined Maxar in February 2020 as Director of Tactical Ground Programs and has previously held executive roles in both Industry and Government. She has over 35 years of experience working in the Intelligence Community (IC) - as a UK citizen and more recently as a US citizen since 2010.
As part of Booz Allen Hamilton for 9 years, Della built the Intelligence business at Buckley Air Force Base, led the Mission Operations line of business on behalf of the Booz Allen National Agencies Account, and was part of the Denver Leadership Team responsible for delivering business strategies across Civil, Defense and Intelligence areas.
Prior to joining Booz Allen, Della held a Senior Executive Officer position in the United Kingdom IC. 18 years of her UK Government career was spent integrated into the US IC, where she led NTM operations in several locations in the US and overseas.
Within industry, Della has been successful in developing and driving business strategies as well as leading teams of analysts, operators, system engineers, integrators, developers and consultants - providing them delivery insights, guidance and leadership focus in critical mission areas and 24/7 global operations.
Throughout her career, Della has provided leadership of diverse work forces and virtual teams comprising multi-national civilian, military and contractor professionals. She developed partnerships with US Government agencies and equivalent Allied organizations across disciplines to support IC customers. For over 15 years she provided oversight of multi-billion dollar US NTM sensor resources at two locations, leading mission planning and real-time execution - ensuring collaboration and optimization. She led strategic planning, tactical defense operations, SIGINT missions, multi-INT fusion initiatives, integrated mission and IT, and associated engineering systems for the US and the UK. She has built a reputation for leading and pioneering change, architecture development, system integration, teamwork and collaboration which secured global realignment, mission and system consolidation, and optimal use of multi-billion dollar resources to meet international customer requirements.
