Dan Meadows is a technology-driven senior leader with over 25 years of experience in NATO and UK/European aviation, defence, and security sectors. As Chief Architect / Chief Engineer at NATO’s NCIA, he leads a team of experts driving coherence across NATO’s complex digital and mission systems landscape—from cloud and cyber to command and control and ballistic missile defence.  He is currently driving the introduction of data-centric, model-based, Digital Engineering practices to transform the way NATO delivers capability.

Prior to his current role, Dan has led enterprise architecture and transformation programmes at EUROCONTROL and NATS, championing model-based and agile approaches, systems-of-systems integration, and large-scale business and technology modernisation. He is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society, with a career built on bridging strategic vision with technical delivery in complex environments.
