Colonel Ash Boreham
Head of Health Advisory Group Engineering and Logistic Staff Corps, NHS
Colonel Ashleigh Boreham joined the Army in 1991. He has served as member of the Army Medical Service (AMS) deploying to Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Kosovo, Croatia, Serra Leone, Oman, Kenya, Iraq and Afghanistan in various command and staff appointments. Working with and commanding deployed health care systems, he has worked a Divisional Commander Medical in both the UK, Germany and Afghanistan. Working in collaborative partnerships in healthcare with NATO Partners, other nations military healthcare teams, International and Non Government Organizations to create integrated health pathways in the deployed environment. He as led healthcare workforce planning and training as the AMS Corp Corp Colonel and healthcare career management Colonel AMS in the Army Personnel Centre. He left the Army in 2020, now working in the NHS with a continued focus on integrated healthcare systems, placed based care and healthcare collaboration. He rejoined the Reserves having left them in 1991 and is now the Head of the Health Care Sector Advisory Group with the Engineering and Logistic Staff Corps.
