Over a decade in Defence, Tony has worked in MBDA, UK MOD, and BAE Systems. The latter he joined in 2018 as the Assistant Chief Engineer on Type 45, which preceded a series of technical leadership roles; as the Novel Weapons (LDEW) Programme Lead, then Head of Innovation Labs in Maritime, and most recently as the System of Systems Integration Lead (or Product Owner) for FCAS.

A Captain in the Army Reserve, Tony works for UK Strategic Command. He was previously seconded as the Head of Innovation for UK Defence Solutions Centre – leading on Land, Electrification, and Multi-Domain Integration. He has a Masters in Theoretical Physics from the University of York, providing the basis for his career as an inventor, leader and innovator.
