The role of the Carrier Strike Group is to act as a self-contained force that can work independently or as part of wider operations. Fully compatible with NATO partner forces and able to call on an array of assets, from rotary to fixed wing, the Carrier Strike Group offers cutting-edge air, surface and underwater defence to meet the challenges of a dynamic and changing battle space. “Strike Operations - Strengthening Security and Defence at Home and Overseas” will hear from those at the forefront, exploring the concepts and capabilities behind the Group, as well its plans for future force development.
