A concern was reported to us yesterday about an alleged compliance breach on a stand at DSEI UK.
We immediately raised the concern with HMRC and the Department for Business and Trade’s Export Control Joint Unit (DBT-ECJU), who have responsibility for enforcing compliance with the UK’s export licensing regime at DSEI UK and are present throughout the event.
HMRC and DBT-ECJU have reported to us their finding that there has been no breach of the UK’s export control laws.
