DSEI ZONES & HUBS

Manufacturing Hub

The manufacturing industry is a key part of the UK and world economy. UK manufacturing currently employs 2.6 million people, accounts for 44% of total exports and represents 70% of business research and development.

After a successful launch in 2019, DSEI’s Manufacturing Hub will return in 2021, supporting UK manufacturers to break into the defence sector and strengthen their relationships within this industry, including with prime contractors who rely on skills and technology to deliver complex equipment programmes.

The Supply Chain Programme

Building on the success of 2019, DSEI 2021’s Supply Chain Programme will offer buyers from Prime, Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 companies the opportunity to meet with SMEs, or any company with innovative products and technologies, through a series of pre-scheduled appointments during the DSEI week.

DSEI’s online appointment tool enables buyers to pre-select the companies they would like to meet during the event.

Buyers can choose whether to conduct the meetings on a stand or in DSEI’s Supply Chain Lounge, located within the Manufacturing Hub.
