RTS are introducing the new Goby®Wave Charger Sys-
tem, a wave powered surveillance and charging platform
for the future of autonomy. This patented technology
takes energy from the surface waves and turns it into
electric power using the hydro power in reverse principle.
Traditional buoys are limited by the power output of solar
panels and the ability to carry batteries, Goby however is a
scalable technology that can be custom built to suit most
subsea power applications. Goby continuously produces
energy from the constant moving ocean waves, and can be
employed to power extensive instrument packages, charge
underwater resident drone stations, and utilised for sur-
veillance packages both under and above the sea.
