AMAZON 4×4 MPAV is the smallest member of BMC’s mine-resistant armored vehicles with an empty weight of only 14.5 tons. It was first introduced in 2016 as a response to the Turkish Police Special Ops. need for light weighted vehicles during their missions in urban areas. Its smaller size grants it the advantage of a narrower turning radius which is crucial to maintain easy maneuverability in tight areas while facing a direct threat. Its light weight does not cut off its level of mine and ballistic protection since it provides the same level of protection as a VURAN 4×4 MPAV with a personnel capacity of up to 7 units. As of today, we have more than 200 combat-proven AMAZON 4×4 MPAV units internationally active in service.
