The Royal Air Force is leading the work on climate change and sustainability across the Ministry of Defence’s aviation sector. The Defence Aviation Net Zero Strategy was recently released to provide a clear vision for how we plan to mitigate emerging climate change risks, whilst also capitalising on opportunities for operational advantage that can be achieved through the emerging solutions. This short video provides an overview of why climate change and sustainability is important to Defence Aviation, as well as a short description of the 5 pillars that form the strategic approach.
