Tertiary Education - Future proofing the Defence engineer in a digital age
Against the current geo-political climate and associated security considerations lies the need to future proof our defence engineers in a digital age. This requirement sits within a multi-facetted, busy skills landscape, placing a particular emphasis on the importance of building and sustaining strategic partnerships across the Defence engineering enterprise. Part of that landscape includes the work of the Defence Suppliers Forum (DSF) for skills and people. This session provides an insight into the work initiated, based on the findings of its inaugural skills survey, specifically in the areas of tertiary education, reskilling and digitization.
