Whether in the UAE, Saudi Arabia or further afield, the GCC can sometimes be a challenging place to do business. But armed with the right advice and preparation, the opportunities for foreign businesses in the region are substantial, and with the introduction of reform programmes across the region in recent years the opportunities are set to grow yet further. Defence expenditure across the GCC is expected to hit $100bn this year, with the majority of spending coming from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This talk will detail the opportunities for foreign companies looking to enter some of the largest accessible defence markets in the world, while also providing much-needed advice and guidance on the pitfalls and challenges of doing business in the region.
