Future conflicts will be won, and lost, based on technological advantage. This advantage will be conferred on the West if it embraces the concept of software defined defence and utilises Artificial Intelligence (AI). This session will explore the opportunities presented by AI for defence, and debate whether the the conventional hardware centric approach is still viable.
