Media Centre

Welcome to DSEI's online media centre - the focal point for all media information on DSEI. In the lead up to DSEI this section of the website will be updated regularly with information for journalists.

DSEI is established as a truly international defence and security event and is a major attraction for relevant trade and broadcast media.

In 2011:

Nearly 400 members of the international press attended from over 250 different titles/media organisations
Journalists from every continent reported from the show
A specially hosted Media Centre was available to use for all accredited members of the international press, with state of the art facilities

DSEI provides an excellent opportunity for members of the media to gather the most up-to-date news and information on the global defence and security industries.

A comprehensive, fully-staffed DSEI Media Centre will be open to all accredited media during the exhibition and will be the focal point for media information about exhibitors and DSEI news.

Accreditation

All media must be accredited to attend DSEI. Media are accredited in accordance with DSEI's media admissions policy. Only appropriate defence trade and national journalists will be accredited.

Please note: Advertising and sales personnel will not be accredited as media but should apply for a visitor pass.

For exhibitors:

CMS Strategic provided PR support for all DSEI 2011 exhibitors. This included CMS Strategic liaising with a wide range of trade and international media with a defence or security equipment focus to promote both the event itself and what exhibitors were showcasing there.

Newsworthy exhibitor information will be considered for use in DSEI press releases and as part of the material sent to media for show previews.

DSEI Concierge - One Stop Shop

The DSEI Concierge, available to all media, provides booking services for accommodation, transport, restaurant reservations, information about London and much more, giving you access to the best offers to help save you money.

There are restaurants in London to suit every taste, budget and location. Why not use the Concierge to reserve a table in advance?

If you need a car to pick you up from the airport or drop you off at ExCeL, this can be arranged by the Concierge.

The Concierge will be your one point of contact for all your needs, both pre-show and at ExCeL, to help make your visiting experience to DSEI as smooth as possible.

The Concierge will have an office in the Boulevard at DSEI and will be available to help you with any enquiries while at the event.
